January 13, 2003 - Free CD-Rom explaining programs now available
Since mid-2001 Fedhealth’s efforts have concentrated on educating city, county, state and provincial Emergency Management officials, Fire Departments and volunteer groups (like Citizen Corps, CERTs, Search and Rescue and others) about our Fundraising programs. Many of these groups have been sharing the ideas with local schools and businesses by word of mouth or using customized handouts and books. (Our thanks to all of you too!!)
Now descriptions of all Fedhealth programs are available on a free CD-Rom to help groups share ideas and demonstrate to schools, PTAs, PTOs, government agencies and nonprofits the benefits of using "IT’S A DISASTER!" books as a fundraising program… or when using grant dollars for purchases. There’s even a presentation explaining a collaborative program that Local Emergency Planning Councils (LEPCs) and businesses can utilize to educate communities while earning tremendous "match" benefits and funds for volunteer groups.
We encourage people to please share information with others or have them contact Fedhealth directly (especially schools) so we can help all our communities "be aware, be prepared, and have a plan".
Please call Fedhealth’s Tucson office at 1-877-878-6824 for more information.
